Class registration information for our students

Payment Methods:

Payment is required ten (10) business days before the class.
We accept the following forms of payment:
Check (If you have an account with us.)
Credit Card (Visa, AmEx, MasterCard, and Discover)


Purchase Orders are accepted once credit terms have been established

Your Guarantee:

We will not cancel your online class regardless if you are the only student. If for whatever reason you are not satisified with your training we will provide a full refund. We only ask you to notify us via email and leave the class within the first 4 hours of your training on the 1st day. You are also welcome to retake a class at no charge for up to 1 year

Cancellation Policy:

At American Media Training, the relationship we build with our clients is our most important consideration. Because of this, we make every attempt to be flexible in regards to class cancellations and rescheduling.
In an attempt to make sure that everyone enjoys a consistent training experience, we offer the following cancellation policy:

Any student cancellation that occurs ten days prior to class is eligible for a full class credit or a 100% refund on the cost of the class.

Due to scheduling logistics, any class cancellation made prior to one week before class is eligible for a 50% discount off a similarly priced class or a 50% refund. We cannot grant refunds or credits for class cancellations made less than one week before class.

Students are free to make substitutions at any time prior to class. All cancellations and rescheduling must be in writing and sent either by email to training@americanmediatraining.com or by fax (310) 934-2222.
Verbal communication of a cancellation will not meet our refund requirements. In the event that a class is cancelled due to instructor illness or other unforseen circumstance, your full registration fee will be refunded or you can reserve a seat in the next available class.

You should be notified of a class cancellation more than a week in advance of the scheduled class. American Media Training reserves the right to cancel a class at any time, in which case the refund and rescheduling policy would apply.
American Media Training is not liable for any travel expenses incurred by the student, even in the event of a cancellation.

Refresher Class:

We believe in delivering real value with our training. Our class refresher policy is designed to make sure you get the most from your training experience by giving you up to one (1) full year to retake the same training again at no cost! Check our refresher policy below to see if you qualify for a refresher course:

Refresher policy applies only to publicly-scheduled classes and must be taken within one full calendar year of the original date

Refreshers only apply to the exact same class. Any change in the curriculum, new software version release, or updated curriculum counts as a new class and is not eligible for refresher enrollment, even within the same calendar year.

Refresher courses only apply to publicly scheduled class enrollment. Refresher courses cannot be held on client site or privately scheduled.

Students must register for a refresher course by phone or email 2 weeks prior to class date, and are not guaranteed a seat. In the event of a class reaching maximum or minimum enrollment, refresher students will be enrolled in the next available class.

American Media Training cannot provide new training materials to refresher students. Please bring back your original class materials for the refresher course.
